A part of the lessons of VU-NT2 are organised on campus again. Not all classes can take place at the VU campus: some will be taught online via Zoom for Education. Click here for more information.
On the daytime group course Dutch for the NT2 State Exam II, you will learn Dutch up to B2 level in one calendar year. This means you will be able to understand difficult texts, write your own texts on a variety of topics, speak Dutch fluently and correctly, express your opinion and participate in discussions. You can start four times per year. After four or five modules each lasting nine weeks, you will be ready to take the NT2 State Exam II. You need this qualification if you want to go on to study at a university or a university of applied sciences in the Netherlands. VU-NT2 will advise you whether you need Level 5 to reach B2 Level, depending on your progress and results in Level 4. Candidates for civic integration can apply to DUO for a Dutch government loan to pay for the course.
